Is a low carb diet healthy?
When someone asked me this question, I realized this is loaded question. From my perspective the better question is "Can Low diet help me achieve my fat loss goals?"
The answer is Yes.
The moment you drop calories and cut down carbs, you'll start noticing changes in your weight. Which is not very surprising because they do work (if you notice there are many different low carb diets and leading them is atkins).
But often people take it too far and end up screwing up their bodies. Cutting down calories have always worked in dropping weight. There are many research where people were eating 800 calorie a day plus free weights and not only they didn't lose any muscles but also dropped fat.
Of course I do not recommend you to cut down that much calories but if you take a check of your current eating habits and start cutting down your calories from there, then you'll see results.
